I have over 17 years of transcribing experience, specializing in dictation and recorded statements for insurance companies, insurance adjusters, and law firms. I have published a noir novella, several crime fiction short stories, a children’s book, and written numerous book reviews, interviews, and articles. My background is in the entertainment industry where I was a script reader for studios and production companies, including Village Roadshow Pictures, Dreamworks, and Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and A Mule Filmworks. For 8 years, I was the sole screenplay consultant for the American Screenwriters Association where I edited scripts for formatting, story development, character, marketability, and structure. I graduated with a BA in Mass Communications from UCLA and an MA in Communications – TV/Film from CSUF.
